Since 2000 we've returned to Tuscany every summer. In the beginning we went for
the landscape, the towns, the art, the food and the people. With every year that has gone by, the
people have become more important. Now we feel like we have a second family in Italy.
More than that, the children of our friends have had children, so we have become
"gli zii americani" (the American uncles).
